"THERE DO EXIST ENQUIRING MINDS, which long for the truth of the heart, seek it, strive to solve the problems set by life, try to penetrate to the essence of things and phenomena and to penetrate into themselves. If a man reasons and thinks soundly, no matter which path he follows in solving these problems, he must inevitably arrive back at himself, and begin with the solution of the problem of what he is himself and what his place is in the world around him. For without this knowledge, he will have no focal point in his search. Socrates’ words, “Know thyself” remain for all those who seek true knowledge and being."

LOVE: From A Child's Perspective

Billy - age 4: "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Karl - age 5: "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

Jim - age 10: "You should never kiss a girl unless you have enough bucks to buy her a big ring and her own VCR, 'cause she'll want to have videos of the wedding."

Gary - age 7: "It isn't always just how you look. Look at me. I'm handsome like anything and I haven't got anybody to marry me yet."

Ava - age 8: "One of you should know how to write a check. Because, even if you have tons of love, there is still going to be a lot of bills."

Erin - age 8: "Don't forget your wife's name ... That will mess up the love."

Natalie - age 9: "Don't say you love somebody and then change your mind ... Love isn't like picking what movie you want to watch."

Rebecca- age 8: "When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

Remember, the children are watching and listening.
